The first floor includes a mechanical room, laundry room, and family room. The second floor added an additional bedroom, office, and bathroom.
There were several obstacles we would have to overcome with this build. First of which is that the existing mechanical was in the footprint of the new addition. We could not relocate power, generator panel or the water heater due to health conditions of the homeowner. With these restrictions we had to construct the 2nd floor first. Once dried-in, we could drop down and start the 1st floor. The addition exceeded the home owner’s expectations.

This project consisted of a family room addition, second level deck accessible from master bedroom, exterior finishes, and new fencing. TK Paragon has watched this family grow over the years. As the family grew, so did the need to expand their existing living space. The need to have a larger gathering space was important to them. We added a family room off the existing kitchen adding 390 sq ft additional feet off the kitchen providing the gathering space that meets their needs.
